Elements: A Multi Sensory Exploration of Art & Music
For children 3-5 years old
Taught by Romina Robinson and Gina Samardge
Fridays, 10am-11:30am (extension 9am-10am*), January 10 to March 13
For the second year running, Romina and Gina are excited to continue this STEAM-based experience on Friday mornings for 3-5 year olds. Using a thematic approach, students will be guided in magical explorations of music and art through stories, music, movement, art-making, and natural materials. STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) concepts will be interwoven throughout the arts experiences, giving children a multifaceted understanding of the world around them that is developmentally on target for their age.
This is a drop-off class. However, if you have concerns about your child transitioning to a drop-off scenario, please contact Romina and Gina to discuss options. Romina - Romina@CompassArts.org and Gina - Gina@CompassArts.org
*This year, we are offering a one-hour open play extension before class. Students enrolled in this option will arrive at 9:00 to participate in open ended, thoughtfully curated play stations, and enjoy a "fruit cafe" snack area. At 9:45 we will wrap up and prepare for the arrival of the rest of the class at 10:00. This extension is only available to students registered in Elements and is an additional $10 a week.
