As we all know, any kind of meaningful change in the world starts on a grassroots level. Compass Arts Creativity Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was founded right here in Beacon in 2013. Our mission is to create healthy, just, equitable, and resilient communities through arts based classes, performances, and events rooted in exploration, collaboration, creation, and play. Through creative programs that incorporate our vision, CACP empowers students of all ages to show up as their authentic selves, build meaningful connections, and work towards a future of shared liberation and healing.

Our work in the community includes free arts classes in the Beacon City School District and Astor Head Start; the Beacon Rising Choir, which now consists of over 75 members; classes and workshops offered with sliding-scale financial assistance; popular events like our Halloween dance party; and free public arts programs like our Community Activities Table.

By becoming a Compass Arts sponsor, you are supporting a trusted organization with deep roots in our community. Every sponsor makes a huge difference for our small but hard-working nonprofit! CACP will also help expose your business to a wide audience, by promoting you on our digital platforms and at our in-person events. Community Activities Table Sponsorship, Spring and Fall 2026 – $300

Our Community Activities Table is a public program that offers free art and STEM activities to families at local events, including the Beacon Farmers Market (2000+ weekly visitors) and Spirit of Beacon Day (4000+ attendees). Your sponsorship includes:

  • Your logo on our “Our Amazing Supporters” signage at every event where CACP will provide a table.
  • Dedicated social media post for your business tied to each event where CACP will provide a table.
  • Your logo on e-newsletters tied to each event where CACP will provide a table.
  • Your logo on the Activities Tables page on the CACP website.
  • Inclusion in our end-of-year social media “Thank you” post.

Halloween Dance Party Sponsorship, October 2025 – $300

Since we first took over the University Settlement Camp on Halloween 2023, our Night of the Living Dead Dance Party has achieved a reputation as one of the best parties in Beacon. Last year, more than 250 costumed guests (21+) showed up to dance the night away. This event has great word of mouth and generates tons of social media content! Your sponsorship includes:

  • Your logo on the event listing on the CACP website.
  • Your logo on all promotional materials for the event.
  • Dedicated social media post for your business tied to the event.
  • Your logo on all e-newsletters tied to the event.
  • Your logo on our “Our Amazing Supporters” signage at the event.

Beacon Rising Choir Concert Sponsorship, January 2026 and June 2026 – $350/concert

From its humble origins as a 13-person resistance choir born from the 2017 Women’s March, the Beacon Rising Choir has grown into a beloved local institution. Today more than 75 female and nonbinary members are raising their voices to uplift one another and inspire change, through vibrant, socially resonant works by female, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC composers and arrangers. BRC concerts are popular events for all ages; our 2025 spring concert was attended by 400 people. Your sponsorship of either the January or June concert includes:

  • A full-page thank you space in the program
  • Your logo on all promotional materials for the event.
  • Your logo on the event listing on the CACP website.
  • Dedicated social media post for your business tied to the event.
  • Your logo on all e-newsletters tied to the event.
  • Your logo on our “Our Amazing Supporters” signage at the event.
